Head of Structured Trade Finance-Singapore
My client is the Global head of trade finance at a top investment bank which has performed fantastically over the past year. They have a headcount to expand their team and are keen to hire a Head of Structured Trade Finance covering Asia Pacific.
This is a fantastic opportunity which will offer the successful candidate the chance to develop strong market skills with one of the top banks in the market. You will be responsible for the following.The Role-Financing and origination of lending products to clients in Asia Pacific-Originating business with corporate clients in Asia-You will have responsibility for a team of eleven individuals covering structured trade finance and export finance in Asia Pacific covering China and South Asia-Role will be mainly managerial but also partly hands on: structuring and arranging recourse financing short and medium term financing-Responsible for cross selling other bank products and services as well as promoting the Bank's network capabilities to clients and potential prospects.-You will be highly involved in pitching opportunities to clients and developing new market strategies-Responsible for originating, underwriting and execution of all structured trade finance transactions in Asia market.Skills Required-Working knowledge of the trade finance market and products is desirable. Good knowledge of corporate clients in Asia is essential-My client will only hire talented candidates who have experience in trade finance/ or structured commodity finance sectors in Asia-Great market leading team paying top salaries-It is essential to have Mandarin language skills as well as EnglishMy client is hiring this position due to massive growth of the trade business in 2011.
